We just came back from the framing inspection, and I can state without hesitation "These are the people you want to build your home". Not only will they give you what you want they'll give you what you didn't know you needed. They also let you customize your home without breaking the bank.

We needed a wheelchair accessible house not an ADA compliant one. (For those who don't know the difference is at least $50K.) Most builders told us to buy what they built and hire contractors to rip out what didn't work and put in what we needed after we closed. Wilkinson worked with us and even suggested improvements we hadn't thought of that would life easier and save us money. Low lipped walk-in shower instead of a roll in. Adding a counter to the island at wheelchair height. Modifying kitchen and bathroom sinks for a wheelchair. And lots of other ideas. The extra cost for things like wider doors and vinyl flooring throughout the house were priced based on the extra cost to them. Things like moving the island or repositioning faucets were free. Other builders wanted to charge what it would cost to make the modifications after construction.

Everyone involved, from sales to design to construction, worked with us and had a professional and fun outlook that made it such an enjoyable experience. Even as they answered the 101 standard new home builder questions for the millionth time. Can't wait for them to finish so we can move in. I'll post another review after we move in.

PS The framing inspection, we thought would be under an hour, took two. The builder went over every feature from outlets to AC/heating, to supply lines, to how the windows worked and more. David was more interested in explaining what we were seeing than the time it was taking.
